Wow. Just wow. It seems that America isn't progressing forward but instead going back in time where equality isn't something that we value. Serving your country is one of the most noblest acts an individual can do, and taking that away, not because of some actual physical hindrance, but because of a social construct. Not being LGBT should never be a requirement for anything, and it's saddening that it now is in America's military.
What can you do? Here's 3 ways how:
1. Sign a petition! (3 minutes) It's so simple. Just click here to sign your name on a petition that will go to the President of the United States and others.
2. Donate! (18 minutes) The Human Rights Campaign is an organization that fights for equality. Click here to donate to the HRC; also check out their shop and buy some clothing!
3. Spread the Word! (6 minutes) Like and share this post and encourage others to follow these steps.
