Net neutrality has always been around, and is what makes our Internet experience so amazing. Now, the F.C.C plans to repeal the net neutrality rules that were passed in 2015. What this means for us is that Internet Service Providers AT&T, Verizon, or Comcast can slow down or block access to certain sites on the Internet; we'll have to essentially pay double for no reason other than corporate profits.
What can you do? Here's 3 simple ways how:
1. Sign a petition (3 mins) Sign your name here and add to the numbers. It makes a difference.
2. Inform others (6 mins) The phrase "net neutrality" isn't clear and many people don't know its importance and what it can mean. Explain to them the impact repealing the net neutrality rules will have. This short comic helped me understand and could be really useful; click here.
3. Join the Movement (8 mins) It's a lot easier than you'd think. Click here, enter your information, and call Congress, and try to participate in other ways; find out how here.
